Step1
Let's review

1. Boys and girls, I know all of you like summer holiday.We can do many things in summer holiday. Look,our friends are talking about their summer holiday plans. Please try to choose one to tell his or her  Summer  holiday plan.

(出示storytime的图片,让学生复述,以旧知来引导新知。)

Step2: Presentation

1.Our friends like travelling very much. Look, there is a new friend. He is coming. He also likes travelling very much. Now, he is watching a video about interesting places around the world. Let’s watch together.

2. After watching this video, the frog has a dream. He wants to make a travel plan. Boys and girls, let’s help him together.

T: How to make a travel plan? Can you ask some questions about his travel plan?

S: Where will the frog go?

  How will the frog go there?

What will the frog do there?

When will the frog go?

(引导学生提出问题,贴板书,这是本节课写作的重点思路)

2. Nowthe frog doesn't know where will he go. You’re a good guide and give the frog some suggestions.

You can go to China. You’ll find (这里出示四个国家的景点......

3. The frog decides to go to Australia.  How will the frog get to Australia

先让学生尝试回答。然后出示三种交通工具。

If the frog go to Australia by ship, it takes two weeks.

Because Australia is around the sea, it is impossible for the frog to take the train.

If the frog go to Australia by plane, it takes about 12hours.

So I think flying to Australia is a good way.

4. Look, this is the frog’s travel plan. What will he do in Australia?

You can read and talk with your partner.
