一、教学目标

1、能初步感知、体验单词bedroom, living room, clock, table, home, sofa, come, kitchen, fridge,    并理解单词的意思。

2、通过创设情境,能听、说、读句子Where’s/Where are...? 及其回答It’s/They’re...

3、能正确地理解并朗读对话内容,在教师的引导和帮助下尝试复述课文内容。

4、能初步运用本课所学的词汇和日常用语谈论东西的位置。

二、教学重难点

1、四会单词的认读和理解。

2、重点句型Where’s/Where are...? 及其回答It’s/They’re...在文本中的理解和运用。

3、文本的朗读和理解。

四、教学过程

Step1. Warming up

1. Greeting.

2. Free talk: I like dogs. What animals do you like? Do you like birds?

3. Sing a song: Where's the bird?

4. I have two birds here. They can fly. Look! They are flying to someone's home.

  Teach: home, a new home (板贴new home)

Whose home is this? Is this your home? Well, this is Su Yang and Su Hai's new home.

  (板贴人物头像)

  Today we'll learn Unit5 Our new home. (板贴Unit5 Our)

Step2. Presentation.

1. Today Su Yang,  Su Hai's and their mum move into their new home.

(1) Can you guess: what rooms do they have?

(2) Watch and find.

Teach: bedroom, kitchen, living room, fridge, sofa, table, clock(板贴)

bedroom, a nice bedroom. They have a nice bedroom at their new home.

kitchen, a clean kitchen. There's a fridge in the kitchen.

living room, a big living room. They have a big living room at their new home.

What can you see in the living room? I can see ... sofa, table, clock

2. They move many things into their new home too. They have a problem. They can't find their things. Let's help them.

(1) Listen and find: what are they looking for?

(2) Read and think.

   Read and think about the three questions.

Q1: Where's the bag?

Q2: Where are the skirts?

Q3: Where's the cap?

(3) Read and underline.

Open books, read the story and underline the answers.

(4) Match and read.

3. Reading time.

(1) Follow the tape. (Tips:模仿语音语调,注意升降调)

Teach: come and look

How does Su Yang feel when she sees her cap in the dog's mouth? A surprise B sad

What will she say to the dog? Don't play with my cap. Don't eat my cap.

(2) Choose a way to read.

Read together or read in roles.

4. Try to act.

Step3. Consolidation and summary.

1. Try to retell.

Work with your partner, try to fill the blanks.

2. What have we learnt from the story?

Take care of our things. Keep our room clean.

Step4. Homework.

1. Listen to the tape of Story time, try to imitate the pronunciation. Then act the dialogue with your friends.

2. Learn to clean up the rooms with your parents’ help.
