教学目标:

  1. 能听懂、会读、会说protect, earth, save, useful, waste, reuse, energy, most, coal, wood, cut down, plastic, oil, so much.

  2. 能听懂,会读,会说日常交际用语We use… to… We should…. We shouldn’t…

  3. 能正确朗读文本,在教师的引导和帮助下尝试复述课文内容。

  4. 让学生了解保护地球的重要性,培养学生热爱地球,保护地球的意识,了解更多保护地球的方法。

    Step1: Warming up

  7. Greeting and daily report

  8. Lead-in

    T: Boys and girls, Let’s enjoy a video.(观看环保宣传片《地球就是你自己》)

    T: After the video, we know people are doing many bad things to the Earth. We kill too many animals. But animals are our good friends. We cut down too many trees. So what should we do?

    Ss: Protect the Earth

    T: (揭题) So today our topic is ”Protect the Earth”.

    Step2: While-reading

  9. Watch and answer

    T: First , let’s watch the story and try to answer: In what ways should we protect the Earth?

    (我们应该从哪几个方面来保护地球?)

    THow many ways?

    S:Four.

  10. Look and say

    T: Can you give titles to the four pictures?

    S: Save water/Save energy/ Save trees/Don’t use too much plastic.

  11. Learn “Save water”

            Use some pictures to explainIn many places, there is not much water.”

    2. Read and answer: How to save water?

      Use some sentences to explain :save water/ waste water/reuse water
